A hot day. We started out on the road for 25km because there is a gap in the trail. Went through a lot of water. Tom picked up a thorn which punctured his tube. Not a problem to replace, but we were in a rail cut and it was baking hot. Lunch was sitting on rocks (no shade). Saw a helicopter doing crop dusting.
